Certified Financial Specialist (CFS) is now online! Presented virtually, CFS teaches the nuts and bolts of property-level financial management - knowledge that is essential to the successful operation of any type of multifamily or senior housing. CFS approaches the subject in two ways. First, it teaches participants about basic financial statements and how to use them in the day-to-day management of a property. Secondly, CFS goes in-depth on developing an annual budget, teaching the critical steps to creating a budget that is accurate, achievable, and effective.

Certified Voucher Specialist (CVS) Online is the industry's first and only live, online certification program for comprehensive training in HUD's Housing Choice and Project-Based Voucher programs. CVS provides essential, to-the-point training in four three-hour online sessions. Participants have one week to complete the online certification exam.
Participants will learn the essentials of occupancy for voucher programs including identifying and calculating income and assets; calculating allowances in order to determine adjusted income, tenant rent, and housing assistance payments; verification and eligibility; reexaminations, civil rights, and fair housing; and much more.
